Engraved Bricks

Engraved bricks are currently available for purchase. An engraved brick is the perfect way to "leave your mark" on Woodford County history, or a way to memorialize or honor someone else.  These bricks also make great gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person who "has everything."

Each brick measures 4"X8"X2½" and is an attractive antique red color which closely matches our brick building.  The engraved bricks will be placed at the base of the flagpole located at the southeast corner of our property at 121 Rose Hill in Versailles.

We require a minimum donation of $100 per brick. You may make a larger donation if you wish.

NOTE: The Woodford County Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law.

How Your Donation will be Used

After deducting the cost of the brick, the engraving, and installation, your donation will be used to continue the programs and activities of the Woodford County Historical Society, including the daily operations of the Society's library and museum.

Certificate of Ownership
Each brick comes with a special Certificate of Ownership. The certificate will be sent to you or to the person you designate.

How To Make Your Brick Donation

To order, fill out an Engraved Brick Order Form with the information for each brick and bring or mail the form with your donation to the Woodford County Historical Society, 121 Rose Hill, Versailles, KY 40383.

Each brick inscription may have up to three (3) lines of text with up to 20 characters per line.  Spaces and punctuation count as characters.  Below is an example of a brick engraving:

1786-1863

NOTE: Although bricks will be engraved and installed in a timely manner, the date of placement cannot be guaranteed due to the requirements of the engraver.
